Millies Mark Award

As you are all aware our nursery has been accredited with The Millies Mark award. The award is a gold standard in First Aid for nurseries and settings, ensuring that the importance of correct first Aid and safety is at the forefront of everything we do ensures that we stay compliant. Within the award 100% of our team must hold a full paediatric First Aid certificate that must be renewed every 3 years. 

Once you have been awarded the quality assurance award you are subject to unannounced inspection visits to ensure compliance. The nursery had an unannounced visit on 16th Novemeber 2018 from Millies Mark assessor, we are delighted to inform you that the assessor was pleased with all areas that she cross referenced, the first Aid questions she asked practitioners, health and safety, risk assessments and meal times which she observed during the course of the morning, leaving us with no actions to take.

We hope this gives parents reasurrance that our practitioners are First Aid trained and competent to deliver emergency first Aid should the need arise.
